Back in 1998 after taking a closer look at Richard Hoagland’s Lawn Furniture structure (SP1-23903), that was photographed in the Cydonia area (located just to the south-west of the City Square), I rotated the image in an effort to gain a better perspective of its intricate internal geometry. After identifying what appeared to be an animal’s head with an eye, muzzle, mouth and a large ear, I preformed a mirror flip to the left of the structure’s ridge line, which was oriented vertically. I was intrigued to see Hoagland’s Lawn Furniture transform into a sculpted portrait of a Golden Calf. Below is the Calf Head geoglyph with my new analytical drawing. In the winter of 2007 the Calf Head geoglyph was photographed again – this time with the MRO HiRISE camera. When the HiRISE image is cropped and mirrored along the same ridgeline of the structure, the Calf Head is confirmed. The HiRISE image supports all of the proposed facial features including the eye, muzzle, mouth and the almond-shaped ear that points outward from the side of the head. fotolog.terra.com.br/inca:69fotolog.terra.com.br/inca:27The 2 images above, one was found in Cydonia Face by Robert Morningstar. The other belongs to Chavin Peruvian Stele of Raimondi where there's a bull's face (horns and snout) above the feline face. The holes above represent the eyes of the bull and the ones below the nostrils bot of the bull and the feline. The feline eyes are carved but are not holes.
