On August 22, 2009, on the fourth anniversary of MSSS release of the Parrotopia image as the Image of the Day (the very day that Haas and Saunders appeared on Coast to Coast in 2005) - Keith Laney revealed a previously unknown “third” image of the parrot. According to Mr. Laney he requested this image in 2005 and received it a couple years ago via the MSSS targeting program. However, although the image was taken back in December 2005, it was not released via the public program, but was supposedly included in the last data dump, which MSSS did nothing with but deliver to the PDS file. Parrotopia (colorized) - MOC S13-01480 - The Cydonia Institute 2009 Note, all of the parrot's features are still there including the tail feathers. To view the PDS image: (scroll down to the 8th MOC strip): alderaan.arc.nasa.gov/pdsimages/select?q=%22Bosporos%20Rupes%22&fq=instrument_id%3A%22moc-na%22&start=50So, we now have three images that verify Wils parrot formation: M1402185, S1301480, and S2000165. Thanks, Jim. Here is a larger presentation of the third image of the parrot (MOC S13-01480) with a it's contours highlighted. Notice the parrots, left facing head, beak, body, wing, leg, foot with toes, and extended tail feathers. GJH

If I remember correctly it is slightly less than 2 miles from beak to tail and 750 ft high at its highest point.

Just prior to the July 4th weekend the founding members of The Cydonia Institute were notified that their science paper -which reveals the parrot geoglyphic on the surface of Mars - was accepted for publication by a peer-reviewed science journal. The paper will be published in the Fall issue of the Journal of Scientific Exploration... Updates to follow. GJH

There is a similar bird patter on earth in the shape of an eagle. The detail is amazing. Dan Winter has theorised that, as all is mind, these patterns can be likened to slowed down thoughts forms frozen into the landscape. As for Mars being inhabited and the moon having structures on, I am a firm believer of this. The evidence is overwhelming and the holes in the official NASA version are in abundance. Why would NASA need to smudge out plain rocks and barren landscapes for? Its like many are saying, where are the high resolution photos from the key areas?

Our Science Paper Has Been Released! The Fall issue of the Journal of Scientific Exploration is now available at BARNES & NOBLE The Journal of Scientific Exploration is devoted to the open-minded examination of scientific anomalies and other topics on the scientific frontier. Its articles and reviews, written by authorities in their respective fields, cover both data and theory in areas of science that are too often ignored or treated superficially by other scientific publications. The fourth paper in this issue of the JSE concerns an avian-shaped feature on the surface of Mars, exhibiting a unique set of proportional features. The three authors who are veterinarians provide a critical analysis of the avian features, and the geologist and geoscientist authors examine natural mechanisms that could contribute to the formation of this feature. Our paper gets a "little" press.... NASA Didn't Hide Everything! Before It's News Sunday, September 18, 2011 "In 2001 the MGS acquired an image M1402185 on the south facing slope of the Argrye Basin. This image showed a cellular grouping, a profiled face and a parrot. In 2002 Wilmer Faust presented the image to the research group the Anomaly Hunters (now retired)." The Asbury Park Press covers the Parrot on Mars Duo: Life existed on MarsHOWELL — A group of researchers, including a planetary researcher from Howell and an image analyst formerly from Jackson, claim that there are constructs on Mars that cannot be explained as the result of natural forces. Referring in particular to one parrot-shaped geoglyph that is the focus of their studies, James Miller of Howell said, “Yes, it could be partially natural, but it had to be worked. There would have to be six different geological events happening within a mile by a half-mile area for this thing to have happened naturally.” See full story: link
