Gary Leggiere found another half-faced formation on Mars that has distinct facial features on the left side. Notice the broad forehead with stiff, wiry-hair jutting out from the side. The face has a dark recessed squinting eye, a bulbous nose and a snarling, down-turned mouth. GJH

When the left side of The Familiar Face is duplicated (mirrored) another Mesoamerican styled mask is revealed. Notice the broad forehead with stiff, wiry-hair jutting out and the two avian heads flanking the top of the head. The face has a dark recessed squinting eye and the nose appears to be a serrated set of flaps, like the filaments of a fish gill. The down-turned mouth takes on the shape of a small face. Note the monkey-like features, the deep set eyes, the small nose and the slightly parted mouth. GJH Attachments:

The Familiar Face also has an avian headdress. Notice the profiled head of what appears to be a vulture attached to the top of the head (highlighted). Attachments:

When the right side of the MRO CTX image of the Familiar Face is duplicated (mirrored) a fox bat is revealed. Notice the highly decorative bat face has a nose, round eyes and erect ears. There is also evidence of a torso and up raised wings. GJH Attachments:
