Within the first few days of 2017 an independent Mars researcher that goes by the moniker of Mean Green alerted The Cydonia Institute of a second Keyhole-shaped structure (Figure 1), sitting within the Ganges Chasma area of Mars. Deriving its name from the River Ganges in South Asia, Ganges Chasma is located within a deep canyon that lies along the eastern side of the Valles Marineris region of Mars. It is thought to have formed through a series of catastrophic discharges of water and CO2 from chaos terrains in its southern margin and may have contained a lake that drained northward into Shalbatana Vallis. Notice the structures wedge-shaped platform and highly degraded mound form below it.

By zooming out from the center of the keyhole-shaped formation we can acquire a more expansive view of its surrounding complex and get a better understand of the formations overall context (Figure 2). Figure 2 Keyhole Complex Notated A-D Detail of MRO CTX D10_030979_1716_XN_08S045W The Keyhole structure (Which I have titled Keyhole Jr.) sits in the center of a complex of geometrically shaped formations (Labeled A in figure 2). A second keyhole-shaped structure (Labeled B in figure 2) is located towards the eastern side of the complex. Notice its large circular mound with an attached square-shaped dock feature that extends out from the mound. Below this second Keyhole structure (That I have titled Keyhole Dock) is a long rectangular-shaped formation that creates a massive wall feature (Labeled C in figure 2). Moving toward the south western side of Keyhole Jr. (Labeled A in figure 2) is a large triangular form (Labeled D in figure 2) that points directly towards Keyhole Jr. GJH
